In The Beninging

"So your son's a blogger now?" My uncle asks as he suppresses his laughter.

"Can you imagine?" My dad joins in the laugher. It's hilarious. I'd laugh too if I were them.

They're both howling now.

"I mean look at his brothers, Ivan is an economist and Kylie a risk manager," he adds. "Now what will I say in the table of men? Meet Josh. My son here is a blogger'' he mimics while still laughing.

I've set him up to trolling from his mates.

"Parenting is hard I tell you." He continues, "You  have to accept all your kids' stupid ideas so that you won't be called an absent parent. Can you imagine? These ungrateful brats might even leave you for dead once old age sets in talmbout you weren't there when I needed you"

"Bastards! So what is this blogging thing anyway?"

"Idk, something about telling stories to internet strangers I think. I wasn't really paying attention when he was telling me. But he sent me this thing he calls a link. Here... see.. the clergyman dot blogspot dot com. One word. That's his website or whatever. A man of the cloth is his identity now."

They continue to sip their tea and laugh as they watch the sun set. It's funny to them. It will never make sense. Or maybe it will with time (you know time the healer?)

Anyway, this is A Man Of The Cloth. And I hope we laugh and learn...But mainly... laugh.

Welcome.
