I am at the barbers.

My friend said this one was the bomb and I trust my friend so I am going to take his word. I had been looking for a good barber jumping from one to another every so often. None seemed to have that ‘touch’ and I am sure y’all can relate… Ladies with hairdressers… dudes with barbers.. yk. It’s such a stressful and frantic process that if you are impatient like me, most of the times you will have this long, untrimmed, shaggy hair and beard and they say first impressions matter so you’re here leaving people with the wrong impressions all because you couldn’t find a damn barber 😭😭😭

Anyway, I was relating this search for a barber with dating. Do you know how stressful it is to just find a partner to spend the rest of your life with? They weren’t playing when they said you have to kiss a few frogs before finding prince charming mbikos wueh 😩😩😩 and some of you have kissed one too many frogs if we’re being honest 😂

Isn’t there like a manual or an app for barbers where I can just go check the reviews and determine where I’ll go get my fade? Must I go through all the harrowing experience of finding that perfect one? 😵😵😵

In dating I’d advise to keep your numbers on the low just as like shaving (shaving hair get your head off the gutter you perv). Because everyone you meet is unique in their own capacity. And the more you meet different people, the different each makes you feel and you end up wanting so many things that one single person cannot provide when you decide to settle down.

There will be the rich one who will spoil you and take you to exotic places and now you want to be spoiled and taken to exotic places because that fire was kindled and who doesn't want that honestly 😭😭😭 There’ll be the selfless one who will put you before the world and now you want that from your ideal partner. There will be the funny one who will make your ribs hurt from laughing and now your ribs are asking why they don’t hurt anymore 😕 There will be the famous one who will have your face plastered all over blogs and magazines and get you that VIP treatment just because you’re so and so’s significant other and now you miss the fame….

This new barber is dope 💥 I might stick here for a while but I don’t see myself staying 😞 I need to settle on one, and so should you.
