As I stood at the balcony wondering how a filthy man like myself managed to have
such a clean house a thought crossed my mind. How hard we try to make our houses clean but hardly live there 🤔because believe it or not a few minutes later I got
invited to this party and that was it for my evening. We spend very little time home daily but never once do we want to see the place dirty.
It got me thinking, if we spend this much effort in houses
we hardly live in, how much more focus should we put on the houses we live
every minute?
“What houses,” you ask.
Well, we live in our heads all our lives.
How much time do you spend making sure it is clean? Ridding it
off of negativity and or toxicity? Ridding it of limitations and hurdles created
by society and ourselves? How much?
You see we don’t need to literally litter our
houses for them to be dirty. Dust accumulates over time naturally and so do
cobwebs. Same thing with our minds, you don’t need to hear or read anything for negativity to creep in. Sometimes it just does.
And so just like you care about your physical dwelling place, do more your mental space. Make sure it is habitable. Make sure it is an environment conducive for you to live in because 👇
You will live there all your life.
You cannot run away from this home.
